A story about Amadeo of Savoy's fleeting adventure in Spain, who was a dazzling shooting star that tried to modernize an "'impossible country". This film is a free and delirious reflection on the futility of power and the difficulty of establishing beauty.


Luis Miñarrois (b. 1949 Barcelona) is well known as one of the most representative’s European "indie" producers. In 2010 he received the Palme d´Or in Cannes with the coproduction "Uncle Boonmee..." by A.Weerasethakul and the Crystal Globe at Karlovy Vary with "La Mosquitera" by Agusti Vila. In 2011 was priced with Tiger Award at Rotterdam with "Finisterrae" by Sergio Caballero and Best Film at Ficunam, Mexico, with "Aita" by J.M de Orbe. Through his company Eddie Saeta he has been involved in 30 unpredictable feature films, which have been circulating by the most prestigious international film festivals and cinemateques.
